Tweaking Raptor memory settings

How to change the amount of memory assigned to each Raptor component, and why.

On Linux, you need to change the init script of the component you want to change e.g.

/etc/init.d/raptoricad

/etc/init.d/raptormuad

/etc/init.d/raptorwebd

In each of those files there exists an argument called javaArgs. It contains a parameter '-Xmx64M' (or similar but with different memory values). You need to change that value to X mbs and then restart the component. E.g. to assign 32 mb, the parameter should be '-Xmx32M'.

To change the memory settings of an ICA running on Windows, you will need to change the parameter wrapper.java.maxmemory in the file C:\Program Files\Raptor\ICA\bin\wrapper.conf
