# Per-event type Graphing Functions

## Introduction

When using the Graphing or Graph Wizard functionality, you can choose to perform particular functions on the data. These functions are specific to particular event types, and this page lists all functions currently available, broken down by event type.

## Index

- JUSP Aggregated Events
- Shibboleth IdP Authentication Events
- Shibboleth SP Authentication Events

## Details

### EZproxy Authentication Events

- Count Entry
- Simply counts the number of events, broken down into the specified number of intervals. For example, if the period chosen was Last Year, and the number of intervals was 52, then each segment on the graph would equate to one week.

- Group by Field
- Groups by the choosen field. For example, if the group by field chosen was "principleInformation.school", then each segment on the graph would equate to every department with events in the chosen time period.
