Installing / Upgrading Raptor

Important: Before reading this page, please read the Raptor Overview page so that you understand what components Raptor consists of - so that you know what to install!

Also Important: Once you've installed, read the productionalisation page, otherwise things might go wrong pretty quickly!

Choose the kind of installation that you're interested in:

Normal Install	An ICA is installed on each service to be monitored, and the MUA and Web components are installed together on a single separate server	Those with one or more systems to monitor who wish to install the Raptor Server components separately	All ICAs to MUA
Quick Install	All components installed co-located with the service to monitor	Organisations with a single, low usage service, to monitor, with no extra servers/VMs available	None
Complex Install	The ICA is installed on each service to be monitored, the MUA is installed on a separate server, while the Web interface is on another separate server		All ICAs to MUA MUA to Web
